ABOUT HADIA:
She is in great demand internationally as a performer, master instructor and choreographer. Hadia has performed and instructed throughout the world and has an innate ability to weave the subtle nuances and textures of oriental music into movement. Her ingenious teaching skills draw upon her multi-faceted 35-year career as an artist and her 15 years as a registered practitioner and instructor of message/manual therapy. She skillfully applies her extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology to create thorough, clear and disciplined breakdowns of all techniques. Her understanding of the peoples and cultures of the Middle East is reflected in her attentive application to oriental rhythms and encouragement of artistic expression. She has a fullness and depth to her teaching that embodies her deep love and respect for our art form as it challenges, inspires and accommodates all levels of students - novice to professional.

1) SATURDAY, June 7: Youngstown (West Seattle); Movement Studio, 12PM - 3PM
HADIA'S "BODY LOGIC" ULTIMATE TECHNIQUE                                    (11:30 registration)
The key to simplifying and understanding Egyptian oriental dance
•  This revolutionary approach to belly dance traces even the most complex movement and steps back to their essential and simple movement patterns.
•  Based on her training in the field of therapeutic exercise, optimal alignment, biodance and NLP, Hadia has developed this safe, fun, effective and effortless warm up exercises that naturally evolve into her repertoire of belly dance technique with total grace and ease.
•  Hadia's body Logic also has the  benefit of not only allowing dancers to dance through 4 to 5 hours of class per day without pain, discomfort or fatigue, but even heals and gently strengthens the body.

2) SUNDAY, June 8: Dance Underground (Capitol Hill); Studio A, 3PM - 6PM
BACK TO BALADI                                                                          (2:30 registration)
•  If you love the earthy, playful and sensual style of Egypt's greatest queen of Baladi, Fifi Abdo; if  you marvel at the powerful hip techniques of the incomparable Badia Mousabni; if you want to rediscover the joy of oriental improvisation, this workshop is for you!
• Hadia will blend technique, styling, improvisation skills and music interpretation for a day of fun that will reconnect you with the roots of our oh so beautiful artform.
